In a sudden turn of events, a cloudburst struck Mukh village near Nandprayag Ghat area in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, triggering panic among residents. The incident occurred amid continuous heavy rains lashing several parts of the state.
Upon receiving the alert, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and district administration officials promptly reached the affected area and launched relief and rescue operations.
According to preliminary reports from the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and local administration, no casualties have been reported so far. However, teams are on high alert, closely monitoring the situation to prevent any further damage.
